I thought that this film was fantastic. From Ledgers unrecognizable and amazing performance of the joker(he embodied the character very well) to Christian Bale maintaining form from 'Begins. Maggie G was an excellent choice for Rachael and did a far better job than Katie Holmes. Michael Caine as Alfred has great comic timing but knows how to play serious as well.
Cillian Murphys small role in the film was a good decision by Nolan. Aaron Eckhart as Harvey/Two face was intense, he surpassed all expectations i had of his skill.
Ledgers presence on screen is powerful and a little scary at times, but the slightly morbid jokes of his are perfect. He almost overshadows the entire film because he is just so insane on screen.
My Favourite movie so far this year. RIP Ledger. Congratulations to Nolan for making such a fantastic movie.

Watch the dark knight 2008 online free dailymotion. I suspect the only reason this Batman film is remembered, is simply because it is a relatively new one and made with the usual fancy CGI effects. How shallow! The film is better than I was expecting it to be. The plot is long and detailed but good. Christian Bale is no actor of any description. He merely fits the requirements of being a hero- type character but without any conviction of any kind. Speaking of which, casting Michael Caine as Alfred has to be one of the worst casting decisions of all time! He has none of the class or heavyweight talent for that matter in playing such a role. He will go down as one of the most over-rated actors in history. Morgan Freeman is very good as one of the few people in the film who is in regular contact with Batman. He is a fine character actor. "The Dark Knight" belongs to Heath Ledger though. I recall feeling quite surprised at his tragic passing and before the film went out on general release. I saw the film at the cinema on my 28th birthday and what a present that was! He really embraces the character of the Joker in displaying different facets. In addition, he is bloody scary in how he looks and acts. The make- up is great and you get the impression of the darkness descending every time he appears. I was glad when Heath Ledger was posthumously awarded the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor, he had earnt it. He is someone who actually makes some effort to be convincing and multi- dimensional in his performance. You believe he could be the Joker. People have debated over whose Joker is better out of his and Jack Nicholson's version. It really doesn't matter to me, they are both great. The violence involving the Joker is quite graphic and disturbing at times. I dispute the certificate that "The Dark Knight" has. It should be a "15." There is some good action and tension along the way.
